A life-size model of a Boeing 787 Dreamliner is on display on the second floor of Haneda Airport's Terminal 2 building.
The model of the midsize twin-engine jetliner was set up on Oct. 21, ahead of its commercial debut by All Nippon Airways Co. in November.
The Dreamliner will be in service for regular flights between Haneda and Okayama as well as between Haneda and Hiroshima from Nov. 1.
The aircraft has a wider body compared with other midsize aircraft, and has improved passenger comfort.
"The latest aircraft has 1.3 times bigger windows than its conventional counterparts and commands a splendid view," said Amika Yuzawa, a cabin attendant from Hiroshima. "I hope passengers will enjoy the view of dotted islands in the Seto Inland Sea from above."
The model will be on display from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. through Jan. 31. Visitors can freely walk inside.
