BIZ BRIEF: Peach gets its first aircraft

Peach Aviation said its first aircraft, an Airbus A320-200, has arrived at its headquarters at Kansai International Airport.

The company, Japan's first dedicated low-cost airline, announced on Nov. 10 that the plane had departed Toulouse, France, on Nov. 8 and flew to Japan via Sharjah International Airport in the United Arab Emirates and UTAPAO International Airport in Thailand.

The airline plans to start services on March 2012 and will use the aircraft for crew training until then.
