A star-studded cast of guest artists is set to perform at the "Anison Live" concert dedicated to anime songs, which will form part of the 2012 World Cosplay Summit (WCS).
The line-up includes JAM Project, an anime music group comprising Hironobu Kageyama, Masaaki Endo, Hiroshi Kitadani, Masami Okui and Yoshiki Fukuyama.
Natsuko Aso, Aki Misato, Chihiro Yonekura, Yoko Ishida and Shuhei Kita will also take the stage.
The concert will be held at the Oasis 21 complex in Nagoya on Aug. 5, the day after a cosplay championship takes place, to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the world event.
More information about additional guest artists, schedules, and tickets will be updated at the official website.
Anime songstress May'n will join the WCS on Aug. 4, to add excitement to the proceedings. She is known for providing the singing voice for Sheryl Nome in the "Macross Frontier" anime series and the theme songs of many hit anime series such as "Aria the Scarlet Ammo," "Phi Brain: Kami no Pazuru" (Phi Brain: God's Puzzle) and "Accel World."
May'n is set to embark on her first world tour later in the summer.
The WCS will be held from July 28 to Aug. 5.
This year, Britain, Russia and Indonesia are sending delegates to the event for the first time, bringing the number of participating nations to 20.
Preliminary contests are currently being held around the world to select a representative from each country.
On June 10, cosplay duo Shikon, comprising Kaito and Yukari Shimotsuki, won the preliminary round to represent Japan.
