For visitors wanting an up close and remarkable view of the Tokyo skyline, including the new Tokyo Skytree attraction, the best vista may be in the city's Odaiba district.

That's where the streets of Tokyo have been recreated in stunning lifelike detail with Lego bricks--1,674,500 to be exact--at Legoland Discovery Center Tokyo.

The new indoor attraction unveiled its Miniland diorama, replicating the Tokyo cityscape. The center opened on June 15 at Decks Tokyo Beach in Tokyo's Minato Ward.

Miniland features Tokyo landmarks such as Tokyo Skytree, the Edo-Tokyo Museum, the Ryogoku Kokugikan sumo arena and the National Diet Building.

The Miniland reportedly took seven months to construct. The replica even has adaptive lighting to reproduce the glittering and lively Tokyo skyline and streetscape as seen during day and night.
