Sharp Co. said on April 20 that its LCD screens have been chosen for the cockpit of its new Boeing 787 airliner.
The company said its Advanced Super View LCDs’ high contrast, wide viewing angles and excellent color reproduction would give pilots and co-pilots clear views of vital flight information.
It said the displays would also offer excellent tolerance of temperature, vibration, shocks and air pressure changes.
