NTT Communications Corp. (NTT Com) said April 27 it has opened new data centers in Singapore and Malaysia.
It said the Singapore Serangoon Data Center will serve financial-services companies and similar enterprises that require high-power, low-latency networks and stable, secure infrastructure on which to build private clouds.
The other entity is called Malaysia Cyberjaya 3 Data Center.
They are NTT Com’s first self-designed-and-built data centers outside Japan. The company already had three such facilities in Singapore and two in Malaysia.
They will provide key support for NTT Com’s expansion in the fast-growing Asia-Pacific region, where the company already operates data centers in 13 countries.
