The mobile games company GREE announced on May 2 that “War 2 Victory,” a multiplayer online game set on the battlefields of World War II, will be featured on its next gaming platform.
Originally released on the iOS operating system in April 2011, “War 2 Victory” was a worldwide hit and currently boasts more than 5 million registered users.
Its developer, the Chinese company WiSTONE, will team with GREE to deliver a new social gaming facet to “War 2 Victory” on the Android and iOS operating systems this summer.
GREE said in a statement that it would “continue to build relationships with third party game developers and publishers as it moves towards releasing its new global mobile social gaming platform.”
