Toyota Motor Corp. announced May 25 that its cumulative sales of the Etios series surpassed 100,000 units in India on May 22.
The Etios series is produced and sold by TMC’s production and sales subsidiary in India, Toyota Kirloskar Motor Ltd.
The milestone was reached just one year and five months after the series was introduced in India with the release of the Etios sedan in December 2010.
The sedan was followed by the Etios Liva hatchback in June 2011 and the Etios and Etios Liva diesel models last September.
