Eisai Co. will launch a new soft drink aimed at women customers at the start of August.
The Chocola BB sparkling white grape flavor drink will be marketed as a health product. It contains niacin, a nutrient that is supposed to maintain the health of skin and protective mucous membranes, as well as vitamin C, vitamin B1, vitamin B6 and iron. There are 55 kilocalories per bottle.
Eisai already markets a grapefruit and peach version of Chocola BB and has been test marketing the new flavor since March.
