Underwear maker shows off 'super cool bra'

May 10, 2012

The lingerie manufacturer Triumph International (Japan) Ltd. unveiled a “Super Cool” concept bra on May 9 designed to use all five senses to beat the heat.

The bra, which is not for sale, features packs of cooling gel in its cups, a wind chime hanging from the wearer’s chest to produce a cool tinkling sound, and a refreshing mint scent. A picture of a goldfish bowl on the exterior is also designed to give a bit of relief from the heat.

It was not clear whether the maker had given any thought to the possible heating effect the lissome models used to show off the design could have on some male viewers. The models wore skirts fashioned out of a bamboo blind and a mosquito net to complete the summer theme.

The Tokyo-based company releases a concept bra every year as a publicity stunt.
